Assist Dover Fire with a MVC - Exit 91 / SR1 Northbound

On May 23, 2016 at 0122 hours the Kent County 911 Center Alerted the MVFC to Assist Dover Fire Department with a MVC with Entrapment. Upon arrival of MVFC units all patients were extricated from there vehicles and A55 was evaluating one patient for possible refusals. Crews then began clean up process of a large debris field with large amounts of vehicle fluids on the road surface, crews applied oil dry and cleaned up vehicle debris while awaiting for the arrival of the tow truck. Crews operated for just over an hour to clean up the scene and open the roadway back up before turning the scene over to DSP and DELDOT. The accident is being investigated by DSP. Crews on scene: Multiple Dover Fire Units, Rescue 55, Engine 55-4, Utility 55-8, Kent County Paramedics, DSP, DELDOT, Chambers Towing.
