Building Fire - Canterbury Shore Stop

On today’s date Station 55 was dispatched to assist station 48 (Felton) with a building fire at the Canterbury Shore Stop. Felton Fire Chief 48-15 (K.Rains) went responding as command and arrived to find a smoke condition in the building. 55-4 went responding with 55-18 (2nd Asst. Chief Tim Conrad) with a crew of 6 and upon arrival was assigned to split crews, half going to the roof and the other half inside to investigate along with station 48s crews. Rescue 55-1 also made the response with a crew of 5 with Career FF/EMT JR Short as the officer and was advised to stage upon their arrival. After the source of smoke was found and secured all 55 units were released by 48 command and returned. Units on Scene: 55-4, 55-1, Station fire police Command of 55 units: 2nd Asst. Chief Conrad
