Recruitment
The Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company is a emergency services organization located within Kent County, Delaware. Since 1927, we have been providing the citizens of Magnolia with fire protection, rescue services, and basic life support. In 2022, the Magnolia Fire Company responded to over 330 fire calls and 1,400 ambulance calls. Those calls for help were answered by volunteers, individuals who don’t receive a paycheck but instead dedicate their time to help keep the citizens of Magnolia safe. The number of calls we answer yearly will continue to grow as our community continues to get larger. We are looking for individuals who are interested in joining us in continuing to protect the lives and property of Magnolia. We offer different types of membership that all work together to carry out our mission statement.

The main type of membership in the Magnolia Fire Company, individuals who join this type of membership will staff our apparatus and be the ones answering our calls for help.
