MVC w/ Rollover - S. State St. / Ponderosa Drive

At 1548 hours, Kent Center dispatched Station 55 (Magnolia), Rescue & Ambulance 41 (Camden - Wyoming), KM7, KM5 (Kent County Paramedics) and Trooper 2 (DSP) for an MVC with Rollover. A55 responded shortly after dispatch with Career FF/EMT’s OConner and Hovis. Engine 55-4 responded at 1554 with a crew of 6, 2nd EMS LT Jones (55-42). 55-1 followed shortly after, with a crew of 2, FF Bryan. Units arrived to find a two-vehicle MVC, one vehicle on its side, 55-42 establishing S. State St command. A55 advised of one patient out of the vehicle, so Command canceled Rescue & Ambulance 41. Upon arrival of KM7 and KM5, Command placed the situation under control at 1601 hours, holding units on scene and canceling aviation authority of ALS. A55 cleared with a patient refusal, and all units were in quarters at 1624 hours.
