Motor Vehicle Collision in the Snow - Bay Road Southbound / Trapshooters Road

At 1347 on December 26th, while snow was falling heavily on central and southern Delaware, Station 55 (Magnolia) along with Ambulance B-41 (Camden Wyoming BLS) were dispatched for a reported motor vehicle collision on Bay Road in the area of Trap Shooters Road (the Barkers Landing Bridge). Engine 55-4, with 1st Assistant Chief Russell and Ambulance A-55 with Career FF/EMT Brode quickly responded, along with B-41. Units arrived to find a two vehicle MVC on the Barkers Landing Bridge which required both southbound lanes to be closed. A-55 transported two to KGH and B-41 transported one, at which time command placed the situation under control. All 55 units cleared shortly after.
