Gas Leak - Intersection of Millchop Lane and Briarbush Road

On February 7, 2011 at 1627 hours station 55 was alerted for a fuel spill in the area of Millchop Lane and Briarbush Road. Rescue 55 (Chief Engineer Helton) responded shortly after dispatch followed by 55-0 (Past Chief Gillespie) and 55-8. Units arrived on scene to find a single vehicle with a partially detached fuel tank. Members controlled the leaking fluids and placed the situation under control. All 55 units were in quarters at 1647 hours. Units on Scene: Rescue 55, 55-0, and Delaware State Fire Police.
