School Bus - SNAP Training - Station 41
Wednesday, February 9, 2011

On February 9, 2011 a few members from MVFC attended an extra weekly training that was held at Station 41 (Camden-Wyoming). Larkins bus service brought a special needs equipped bus to Station 41 and showed members of both companies how to operate different tools on the bus both manually and electronically. They also showed us how to gain access to the bus if it was to be involved in an accident and different safety measures that would be activated. Members learned about the SNAP program which identifies specific medical needs of children that would be on the bus. The members of MVFC would like to thank Station 41, 41-17 (Assistant Chief Cobb) for inviting us to the training , and also to Larkins bus service for providing us with this very informative training.
