Trailer Fire - 46 Lambert Drive

On February 11, 2011 at 19:03 hours while Station 41 was battling a fire on the west side of their district. The assignment was dispatched for a working trailer fire at 46 Lambert Drive also in Station 41's district. On the assignment was Station 41's Stand-by crew 54-5 (Little Creek), Station 55 (Magnolia) and Tanker 48 (Felton). Shortly after dispatch Engine 55-3 (Asst. Chief Rhodes) went responding followed by Rescue 55-1. Engine 54-5 arrived 1st due and reported fire showing. The crew from Engine 55-3 arrived 2nd due, pulled a line off of 54-5 and after making an attack to the back room of the trailer from the exterior, stretched the line through the rest of the trailer and conducted an aggressive interior attack with the crew from 54-5 knocking down the bulk of the fire. Crews conducted an extensive overhaul of the trailer before returning. Little Creek Chief Bundek had Command. Units on Scene: Engine 55-3, Rescue 55-1, Ambulance A-55, FM-28, Station 41 (Camden-Wyoming), Station 48 (Felton), Station 54 (Little Creek), and Delaware State Fire Police.
