Magnolia firefighters make quick stop of trailer fire

On April 5, 2021, Magnolia firefighters responded to a reported trailer fire in the Barkers Landing trailer park. Engine 55-4 arrived as the first due engine and had light smoke showing. Upon entry into the trailer, a small kitchen fire was found. Crews were able to extinguish the fire before it extended throughout the trailer. Crews remained on scene for overhaul. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Delaware State Fire Marshal's office for further investigation.
