Firefighters respond to trailer fire

In the early morning hours of May 24, 2021, the Magnolia Fire Company responded to a report of a trailer on fire on Autumn Moon Lane. Command 55 arrived on scene and advised nothing showing from a single wide trailer. After completing a 360 walk around, smoke was observed from the Charlie side of the trailer. One line was stretched off of first due Engine 55-4 to extinguish any hot spots. Crews worked to open up and check for any extension. Two pets were found deceased in the trailer. One was transported with burns to an area hospital. We thank the Camden-Wyoming Fire Company for assisting with on scene with an engine and squad. The scene was turned over to the Delware State Fire Marshal's office.
