Magnolia firefighters assist Little Creek Volunteers with a Working Fire with reported subjects trapped
Sunday, February 6, 2022
On Sunday, February 6, 2022, the Magnolia Fire Company responded to and assisted the Little Creek Fire Company with a working house fire with reports of multiple subjects trapped directly across the street from their firehouse. Tanker 55, Engine 55-4, Rescue 55, Command 55, and Ambulance 55 all responded and assisted in searches of victims, victim removal, ventilation of the roof on the Delta side, and RIT along side firefighters from multiple departments. Despite the efforts and teamwork of everyone on scene, this fire resulted in several fatalities. We ask everyone to keep the families and first responders in your prayers as they deal with this difficult situation. The fire is under investigation by the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s office. All units on scene were under the command of 54-15.
