Fully Involved House Fire Christmas Eve

Shortly after 2:00am on Christmas Eve morning the MVFC was alerted for a Residential Structure Fire in the 180 Block of Brookdale Rd in the Brookdale Heights development. Shortly after dispatche, a Past Chief of the department quickly arrived and advised heavy fire showing with side D exposures. Crews operated for 4 hours doing fire surpression and overhaul. All occupants made it out safely. The MVFC was assited by the Camden-Wyoming Fire Company Station 41, Little Creek Fire Company Station 54, Kent County Paramedics, and Bowers Beach Fire Company back filled while units operated at the fire. The scene was turned over to the Delaware State Fire Marshals Office to investigate the cause of the fire.
