MVC - In the area of Andrews Lake Road

On March 29, 2011 Station 55 was alerted at 00:22 hrs. for an ambulance and Rescue to assist Station 48 (Felton) with an MVC with entrapment in the area of Andrews Lake Road. The ambulance and Rescue 55-1 (Asst. Chief Rhodes) went responding at 00:26 hrs. with a full crew. Upon arrival of Command 48 it was found to be a one vehicle MVC with a subject trapped. The crew from Station 48 stabilized the vehicle and removed one patient, crews then went to work removing the roof and drivers side door to gain access to the patient who was removed from the vehicle and taken to Trooper 2. All 55 units were in quarters at 01:17 hrs. Units on Scene: Rescue 55-1, Ambulance 55, Station 48, Delaware State Police, Trooper 2, and Delaware State Fire Police
